LiTA is a timeless, contemporary perfume with a classic feel and modern touch, LiTA’s genderless and settled composition opens with a majestic overture played around a thick blanket of boozy, smoky, and rum-like scents, masterfully combined with warm and spicy patchouli and a generous white flower bouquet. With sparkling aldehyde notes, it introduces a plush jasmine and ylang-ylang tune with an impression of a moist gardenia and suede before releasing a sweet and sour amber note with hints of woods revealing burnt notes of vanilla remixed with civet, musk and precious flowers. Like a slightly dystopian love tale full of intimacy and oblivion, euphoric and blue memories, comfort and adventure, excitement and stillness, LiTA develops on the skin creating aromatic notes that appear and disappear in a circular, harmonious way. To celebrate their new musical pairing Duo, lead singer of acclaimed band The Kooks, Luke Pritchard and his singer-songwriter wife Ellie Rose have joined forces with world renowned perfumer Antonio Gardoni of Bogue Profumo to create LiTA, a stunning perfume in a collaboration of scent and sound. The perfume is inspired by the mood of Luke and Ellie’s upcoming album DUO producing a dark and smoky aroma.

Sophisticated smoky notes infuse the long body of LiTA, reminding us that the most elegant leather and smoke fragrances often depend upon a complexity of florals, woods, herbs, and resins to gain a powerful and distinctive character. The finest examples work great variation and texture within something that can otherwise be so stubbornly singular, and in this regard, LiTA will recall many greats, from Russian Leathers to Lonestar Memories, Bois d’Ascese to T-Rex. Here, smokiness becomes an umbrella category that encompasses the burnt, charred, roasted, boozy-peaty, and the caramelised - inclusive of all of their subtleties and differences - and LiTA maintains these many impressions. You can enter into the thickest parts of LiTA and never feel encumbered, and this is its charm but also the source of its marvelousness. Moving amongst this body, you can discern and feel its allotropic variations in cycles of texture and intensity, repeating themselves well into the development of the scent. And in its contrast, the white of gardenia, champaca, and jasmine flowers reveal the fine nuances of many tones of black, which are generously strewn across the surface.
