Ought we hold this scent tantamount to the original Aventus? Sure, the DNA is present: a fruity top on a serious woody fougere base, but there's a noticeably animated point of difference to this fragrance, which is cologne-like only in style, but not in concentration. Find the tonic-like exotic spice of ginger and the peppery green of mint playing nicely with the soft warmth of mandarin citrus, wrapped in a creamy blanket of musk. As the scent develops, these bright top notes rest on a bold heart of softly smouldering woods.
