Not the best shave

It doesn't shave anywhere near as closely or as smoothly as my Merkur + Astra blades. Mens Biz advised that they are shipped as "shave-ready" from the factory and if it wasn't performing correctely they would ship it back to Germany so Dovo assess the blade and re-sharpen if necessary. I apreciated this offer but thought it would probably be easier to take it to a local honing specialist.
