Supply The Single Edge Pro Razor: Classic Matte

Razor has a great weight, provides a great close shave , blade injector is easy to use and blades are very sharp

Regardless how good I prep for shave, I always get cuts with Supply Pro, even on setting 1 ( mildest). I would return it if I could. Will stick to my Leaf Twig razor.

It’s an adequate Razer. Doesn’t shave well on my neck, even with a lot of preparation. It’s beautiful but, at the end of the day, isn’t the answer.

Received razor promptly, opened, scanned QR code within for instructions only to be taken to a SMS subscription services that charges per sms for each text ongoing.. Closed immediately & decided to wing it without their sms instructions.
Tried to shave - blunt as heck; realised the thing ships with a blunt black placeholder. Replaced the blade- the black thing was difficult to budge, but moved eventually.
Tried to shave again - nothing; it was as blunt as shaving with the placeholder.
Changed settings on razor - nothing.
Pushed harder - ended up with red neck and face and still no cut hair. Pushed harder - cut my skin but still not hair (YAY at least something finally cut!).
Threw the thing aside and shaved with a Mach3 after having tried to shave for half an hour and now being late for work.

The next day decided to give it another shot - found instruction videos on insta - I'd been doing everything right, which I expected given this is now my 5th safety razor (well, except pushing harder). I found a "my razor isn't cutting" section which suggested replacing the blade; I tried again and AMAZING! 5/5 for shaving performance!

The razor is as nice as any of my previous safety razors, better than the disposables and doesn't have the usual fail point (of the screw mechanism that holds the blade onto the head of the safety razor).

It does a great job with short facial hair and still quite a reasonable job on a 1 week growth that I set this thing onto (any of the disposables I've used would have clogged within seconds with such length hair)

I'm so happy that I kept persisting.

I don't understand why Supply would send this razor out with a blank in it (and not make it clear that it's not a blade), nor why the first blade out of the injector was blunt (unless I damaged it when dislodging the metal blank?), nor why they don't just include actual instructions rather than trying to make you subscribe to a sms service.

Supply please keep up making razors but please tidy up the support gear !
