Tauer L'Air Du Desert Marocain is inspired by the fragrant world of the Maghreb desert. Imagine finding peace in a room, lying on the bed, exhausted from the heat of the day, with the window open, letting the cool air in which still is very dry and filled with the scents from the near desert and spices of the streets below. Powerful, sensual and pure, the elegant top notes are based on typical spicy scents of the Maghreb; coriander and cumin, joined with Petitgrain. The warm heart surprises with the fragrance of rock rose and a hint of jasmine. The base is full of warm woods such as cedar wood and vetiver, brilliantly joined with a fine amber background. If I had a dollar for every time I'd been asked what I was wearing... L'Air du Desert Marocain is an imperative Amber fragrance, this is a scent filled with exotic promise. The effect of a gentle sandstorm is created through coriander seed, lifting a base of cedar and amber into a transparent masterpiece. Tauer's greatest achievement, or even perhaps modern perfumery's greatest achievement.

Excellent fragrance all year round

This fragrance is so pleasant and has depth. Some of the woodier tones lend to the cooler months with some fresher vanilla scents for the warmer months

Such a great scent

I feel like I smell a mix of a negroni, with the orange, and a spiced coco cola. Me and my partner fight over this bottle for who gets to wear it out.

Holy SHIT THIS IS GOOD

I bought a selection of samples for another perfume, and this was my favourite one in the selection by a LOT.

WARM, FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE

L'air Du Desert Marocain: Absolutely lovely fragrance, woody, spicy, mildy sweet and very warm. Excellent sillage and longevity which this brand is well known for, and one would expect for this price point. It is somewhat unique and definitely feels like a niche fragrance but nothing groundbreaking, I would say that it is 'softly adventurous'. My housemate commented that I smelled like a friendly kindergarten teacher, which is probably not the vibe that I was going for, but it certainly has an approachable feel to it.
