NOAH is an Australian fragrance and grooming retailer stocking over 500 niche perfumes from 80+ independent houses worldwide, alongside a complete range of men's grooming, skincare and shaving products. We have been operating since 2006, originally as Men's Biz. Our flagship store is in Abbotsford, Melbourne, with barber and shop locations in Sydney and Canberra.

Niche fragrance refers to perfumes produced by independent houses outside the mainstream commercial industry — brands that prioritise creative vision and material quality over mass-market appeal. These fragrances are typically produced in smaller quantities, use higher-grade raw materials, and are distributed through specialist retailers rather than department stores. NOAH carries over 500 niche fragrances from houses including Zoologist, Nasomatto, Amouage, Toskovat, Bogue Profumo, Heeley, Creed, Initio and many more.

What is the difference between EDP, extrait and EDT?
What is the difference between EDP, extrait and EDT?
These terms refer to the concentration of fragrance oil in the formula. Extrait de parfum (also called parfum) is the highest concentration — typically 20–40% fragrance oil — and produces the most intense and long-lasting result. Eau de parfum (EDP) is typically 15–20% and is the most common concentration in niche perfumery. Eau de toilette (EDT) is lighter at 5–15% and tends to project more openly but fade faster. Higher concentration does not always mean better — some fragrances are intentionally designed for a specific concentration.

Yes — hand-filled samples are available for every fragrance in our collection, starting from $4. Samples contain enough fragrance for several wears, allowing you to properly assess how a fragrance develops on your skin over a full day. We strongly recommend sampling before purchasing any niche fragrance. Fragrance sample packs are also available — a curated set of 6 samples organised by family or theme.

Our fragrance range starts from around $150. Samples are available from $4, allowing you to try before committing to a full bottle.
What is a fragrance consultation?

Our fragrance consultation is a guided service designed to help you find fragrances that suit your tastes, lifestyle and existing wardrobe. The service costs $75 and includes six samples selected and posted for you anywhere in Australia. It is available in our Melbourne store and online. Book at the link above.

Please make sure your order details are correct as once an order has been placed, it goes into a packing queue and cannot be edited, cancelled or changed.

If you are shopping on our .com.au site, all prices are displayed in AUD and include GST. We are based in Australia and our ABN is: 33 139 443 860. Orders shipping outside of Australia will have GST removed from the price.

Yes — we ship to Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Free delivery is available on Australian orders over $100. Please see our Shipping page for details.

Yes, but you must select Australia Post as the delivery method at checkout.

All articles are sent with authority to leave, so if you will not be present to accept your delivery or you feel that your address is unsafe to have a parcel left unattended, we recommend sending your order to a work address, PO Box or Parcel Locker.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking link.

We have a 90-day return policy, which means you have 90 days from the purchase date to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused and with all of its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We don't allow returns on fragrance samples or special order items so please choose carefully.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded back to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
