Beautiful and gentle scent

This wasn't a blind buy - I loved the sample so sprung for the whole bottle.
I am put off by the sickly sweet commonplace scents available everywhere - for example, I find V&R Spicebomb and the Tom Ford stable much too sweet, artifical and tacky. Cuba is much better for me - noticeable initial fresh notes which turn into a warm and comforting subtle scent. I don't think this has a lot of projection (as EDC concentration) but I like that.

Prior to Cuba I enjoyed Booze and Baccy (Capt Fawcett) and will one day buy a Santa Maria Novella Tabacco Toscano. There's obviously the tobacco theme running through, although I can't definitively pick it out. I just like these three.

I’ve been buying Czech & Speake products for years. My favourites are Cuba, 88 and Frankincense & Myrrh. They are all very unique and distinct fragrances. However Cuba is definitely my favourite. I’m so happy I can now buy these products in Australia.
