men-u SLIC (Smooth Leave-In Conditioner), 100ml

I wanted a product that was something I could just put on my hair and have it do what it needed to do, without too much effort on my part. The men-u SLIC does that, it's stopped the frizziness and made my wavy-curly hair calm down, and it only adds a few extra seconds to my routine. Plus the smell is nice and not overpowering.

I tried applying this a couple of times, but throughout the day I could smell its cosmetic (for lack of a better word) smell over my cologne, which isn't what I want.

That being said, it did manage to make my very thick frizzy hair feel soft and manageable. Pity I can't bring myself to use it in public.

Great product for those who like to style their hair with minimal product. I use SLIC after blowdrying my hair, to stop it 'fluffing up'. Works a treat.
Leaves your hair in fantastic condition (see what I did there?) and doesn't leave you with a bunch of gunk to wash out.
Very large number of applications - I bought it about a year ago and it still hasn't run out.
I like to have styled hair, but also like to be able to touch it without washing my hands afterwards. This accomplishes that.

I have 'normal', thick, short-medium length hair.

I found this product conditioned my hair well. However, it held it together in groups of strands (for want of a better description) a bit much for my liking if used for styling or before the addition of styling products (tried with various styling fibre pastes, moulding clays, grooming creams), which made my hair seem thinner. It was pretty good when I mixed one pump with a similar amount of Men-u Muscle Fibre Paste in my hand - this would provide the conditioning and shine while keeping the hair separate and thick.

I don't use it regularly now, but it's a reasonable product. I'd recommend playing with a few combinations of quantities and products before taking your hair out in public.
