Fantomas is a search to manipulate and amplify the power of the nose. It leaves an undeniable trace for further investigation, a lasting fragment embodying the wit and charm of a perfectly executed plan. A mysterious fragrance suitable for defiant circumstances, that seemly evokes olfactory illusions with its continuous development on the skin. An idea towards a more harmonious world, or its destruction . . . A smell of sophisticated crime.

A unique, stylish, edgy sweet smoke with plastic, ozone, aquatic and fruit — complex, with fantastic longevity and noticeable projection.

Editor's Notes

Fantomas presents an immediate clash on the nose, its sensation a singular complexity of milky, gravel-like, fruity, rubbery, smoky, and sweet impressions. Its absurdity - in the name of art - leaves a lasting impression. Nasomatto perfumes can be felt immediately, seemingly refusing to yield to interpretation and decipherment. Indeed, this fragrance is inspired by the crime scenes depicted in the Franco-Italian film Fantomas, which implores us to investigate, seek, explore, diving into the inexhaustible mystery. What we know is that the smell is good, interesting, complex: it works the nerves as much as the brain.

For those familiar with Gualtieri's museum of works, think of Fantomas as a cross between the spicy-leathery-patchouli facets of Pardon, against the curious lactonic notes of Seminalis, and perhaps even the glorious fruity-musk mistake of Blamage. The references are endless because Gualtieri's olfactory palette is consistent - one could call this 'style'. If asked what you're wearing - say nothing - it's a mystery!

Those aliens at the end of Annihilation but

Those aliens at the end of Annihilation but sweeter. Lasts on the skin and lasts on clothes for days. Really nice!

Futuristic and cozy

A very Doctor Who smell if i've ever smelt one. Contracting notes, like chaotic characters blending so well together like a much loved science fiction show.

It has a bright, fruity opening that reminds me so much of ripe melon (however there is no melon note) and a cool and sharp metalic twang I can't put my finger on. The gunsmoke along with the slight sweetness of the fruit notes is delightful and not distracting at all like I thought it might be. All together this perfume feels very fresh and futuristic but in a very well lived in way to me.

I can't wait to buy a full sized bottle!

I had the difficult decision of having to choose between a full bottle of this or Ghost in the Shell out of my last samples and Etat Libre d'Orange won by a hair. For now I've opted for a second sample to test it against the weather as it cools down, I think it will really shine in the cold.

This one is hard to explain smells like that fog smoke at a night club .bit of melon , smells cold metallic has very little sweetness. Definitely a hard one to explain. Personally I like it . Think it will do better in summer
