Speick Men After Shave Lotion, 100ml

Have been very happy with this Speick after shave lotion since the 1990's, when I purchased some when I was in Germany on business. It was the Speick soap that impressed me initially with the Speick brand. It was not available in Australia at that time. Very pleasant scent and you don't need much to do the job.

This spieck aftershave Lotion is top notch. Nice, mild, clean scent. Top notch after shave feel. Great value. Speick products are all you really need. They just work.

This after shave lotion is a lot gentler on my skin than the proraso I was previously using. The speick scent is cool, slightly herbal, and dissipates quickly, so it won't interfere with your cologne. Decent price, and not as drying as some out there.

You still get the pleasant sting feel but the burn is very mimnimal.
The scent is delicate and lovely without being overpowering. very refreshing feel after you splash it on your face and no oily texture. Great aftershave together with the Proraso green after shave lotion which i use on warmer mornings.

A great discovery. Witch Hazel, menthol and herbal extracts combine to give a clean and soothing sensation. Alum no longer included which is an improvement. Leaves my skin feeling nourished. Nothing artificial about it. Hardly needs a balm. Gives a subtle feeling of confidence. Masculine. Will stay in my rotation. Highly recommended.

It only took a couple of days to fall in love with this fragrance (whatever it is) but the sensation was love at first splash. An after shave for men, not boys. A burst of fragrance followed by a bloom of tingling sensation that gradually resolves to a smooth confidence that blasts you out of the bathroom and into your day.

Speick after shave has a fragrance that is difficult for me to describe. But this seems to be standard. It is not overpowering and smells "clean", if that makes any sort of sense. It is one of those scents that teases you in that it is there, only as hint, and you want it to be a little stronger. As far as after shave relief goes, this is the best that i have, my skin feels soothed and invigorated almost instantly after application.
I will never be without this AS and if you are undecided, i strongly recommend you give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

Just love the Speick scent. It's very clean and doesn't feel overpowering or artificial. Although this aftershave is alcohol-based, there is minimal burn, and this AS contains alum and the speick plant extract, which is much better for your skin than your common drugstore aftershave. Excellent stuff indeed!

My son got this for me and it arrived yesterday and I’ve got to say if you don’t want to be one of those blokes soaked in artificial scents that people smell coming and instead want a man’s product that does what a good aftershave is meant to do after a good shave, this does the job. Have a look at what is in it and what is not in it, no wonder it does the job.

This aftershave does a great job of refreshing and soothing your face after shaving - the list of ingredients is telling in this respect. The fragrance has lovely fresh herbaceous notes. It loses a star due to the fact that the fragrance fades rapidly on my skin.
It works great as a "freshen-up" product.

I would really recommend this - it does everything an aftershave should do, and for a really good price. It has a fairly gentle sting to it, is refreshing and leaves your skin feeling soothed and protected. It leaves a nice soft almost powdery feeling to your skin. The scent is so-so in my opinion, but definitely not unpleasant or overpowering and doesn't last more than an hour or so (which I prefer). I used to use Proraso, and I really like that, however in my opinion I think this is a better product.

Really Nice on the skin ,did not feel any "sting"and my Wife gives her approval to the Aroma.

Really finishes off the shave, smells great and works even better. Burns just enough and then cools and calms the face. I would not be without this product.

This stuff really tops of the satisfaction of a good shave. A pleasant cooling sensation after a quick burn, without tightening or drying out my face. Scent lingers for long enough to enjoy without being overpowering, refreshing and smooth.

This lotion really tightens the skin upon application and has a nice burn. There are two ingredients in this product which seem to get overlooked, lactic acid and potassium alum. They are not generally found in many aftershave lotions, but i believe they condition the skin and prevent razor burn. I can only describe Speick as an excellent skin tonic.

Wow... this was one of the first "Spieck" products I bought based on the reviews.

I'm so glad I did, it has a nice unique scent that is hard to describe (I've found that with a lot of their products).

The scent is very "Fresh" if I had to provide a description of it. Very nice and seems to die down after a while which is fine as I usually like to apply a cologne there after.

I wasn't really expecting too much from Spieck, boy was I surprised! I love a good astringent, and the feeling of Spieck is very fresh. More surprising was my wife's reaction – She loves the smell! More than all the TOB's I have, even more than Proraso splash which was her favourite until now.

THIS PRODUCT IS JUST SO GOOD CONSIDERING IT IS NATURAL AND DOES WHAT AN AFTER SHAVE SHOULD DO.

IT REFRESHES THE SKIN, CLOSES THE PORES AFTER A SHAVE WITHOUT GASSING OUT THE BATHROOM OR CAUSING YOUR FACE TO BURN.

THE AROMA IS ADDICTIVE AND YET SO SUBTLE BUT ENOUGH TO REFRESH THE SENSES. MY WIFE WHO HAS BANNED ME USING ANY COLOGNE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT AND ISN'T AFFECTED BY THE SMELL- NOW THAT SAYS SOMETHING !!

Very refershing lotion with an uplifting scent that particularly reminds me of "4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser" like it was in the 70s! The scent doesn't last very long which can motivate you to apply a different after shave if you like to do so.

When I first tried it, I didn't like the Speik aftershave, but over time I've come to like it a lot. It has a fresh "herbaceous" scent with more than a touch of witch hazel. It has a mild "buzz", but not a strong burn on the face and is not at all sticky feeling. I use it when I feel like a bright wake-up scent, and it goes well over a subtle shaving cream such as TOBS Mr Taylor's Luxury Shaving Cream or Barbershop Shave Cream. Not recommended over sandalwood, rose, or other highly scented shave creams.
