Speick Men Shaving Soap Stick, 50g

Have used different soap sticks for shaving at times over the years and this is the first time I have used the Speick brand. Nice soap with that classic fragrance. Has a plastic base to the stick for standing upright. Would be nice to have the stick in a plastic overtube since you need to store in cupboard after use.

Love the Speick Men line of products. Grate this down and mould it into a tub. Lathers without any problems using whatever your preferred type of brush is. Excellent cushion and glide. And the scent!

Does the job. Not the best shave stick out there but you won't be disappointed.

Soap sticks are fun to use and a good one does a good job and given the ingredients, lather, and price, a Speick soap stick is as good as it gets in a soap stick. Something that does what it is meant to do and does it while looking after your skin.

Wow I wasn't expecting such a great smell and lather from this stick but it delivered excellently. It's not going to beat my regulars like Cella and Mitchell's Wool Fat but I wouldn't mind using it occasionally, great for travel though I wish there was some form of cap.

Great stick, love the clean Speick scent, and it's very slick. I've used a few sticks, and this one is definitely number one. Some shavers do not like sticks because they can be a bit difficult to lather, but make sure you tip the tip of the shave stick in water, as well as wetting your face before the shave. The only drawback, if there is one, is that it doesn't come in a plastic container such as the Tabac stick, but obviously, the price would then probably be increased. Based on the value and performance, this is definitely a must-buy for Speick lovers. Also, this would be great for traveling.

This is a good product, but I don't like it. The value is insane and it gives an excellent shave, but the scent is much too lavendery for me. It's also just a foil wrapped stick, so it's not actually great for travel at all. I will probably pass it on to my father and keep looking for a travel stick that suits me.

Easy to get a rich lather even using my "vintage" Badger Brush which is loosing hair,will purchase again.

Unfortunately this doesnt share the same fresh herbal scent as the Speick deodorant (its more lavender and soapy/floral).

This is just a foiled wrapped stick too so its not very travel friendly. It does fit into the D.R Harris soap stick container and also the Speick deodorant container if you have one of those laying around you can wind this stick into that container to make it very travel friendly.

Finally it does have a nice lucious and smooth lather that is easy to apply and work up on the face.

Weighing in at 50g the Speick Shaving Soap is a great size for travel. Although the packaging is not quite perfect for travelling, simply popping it into a ziplock bag keeps the rest of the shaving kit soap free and you are laughing.
It has a fantastic scent and lathers like a dream with no need for a bowl, so once again a winner for travel. I can get 3 passes with one lather with out too much difficulty.
For $8 you get to shave like a king! Teamed with my Merkur HD 34C, Astra Platinum blades, Omega pure bristle travel shaving brush and Geo. F. Trumper Sandalwood Skin Food I have a fantastic travel DE shaving kit that weighs less than my previous cartridge shave kit. I wish I had got onto this years ago!

Easy to lather and a great scent, Gotta love Speick, am impressed that it lives up to the hype, fantastic stuff.

I bought this as an alternative to the T & H shave soap, whilst good takes a bit of work to create a rich lather. Not so Speick which takes little effort. Further, the lather is very creamy and luxurious. At only $11 what a bargain! It also give a closer shave than shave creams. i have only used it a few times and ii must say I am hooked. I will try some other good quality shave pucks as well but I think this will be a staple. Will no doubt try their other products as well.

This shave stick has a great invigorating , fresh smell . It is easy to produce a rich , moisturising lather quickly and easily . This one is a favourite already .

I was looking for an alternative to Tabac as is always out of stock and decided to give this a try as many say it is as "bad" smelling as Tabac! I have no idea what the fuss is about it smells like a nice soap and the performance is great. Much better than tabac.

The Speick stick is the best shaving stick I have used and I have used a lot!
I use a stick in stick form and I have also have one milled into a container to load like a puck.
The scent is devine! I absolutely love it. The lather is thick and very protective and the lubrication means the shave is always close and comfortable. The skin is left feeling very nice and fresh and I can catch a whiff of the scent for a little while after the shave.
Tip: Like others, I also found the soap to go on heavy when I use it as a stick. What I do now is just load the soap on my cheeks and chin, not on my neck. This gives the perfect amount of lather for 3 passes without much wastage.

This is the first soap stick I used after finishing my sample and my last shaving cream from the can. It works surprisngly easy and after 10 shaves it looks like I haven't used any. The smell is soo much better than the one from the can.

This works very well - thick, rich lather - and smells great. Not much else to say!

Let me first say that I pretty much use shavesticks 99% of the time. I even turn my pucks ( like MWF ) into shavesticks. You can keep your fancy smancy "Three T" soaps, Speick creates a lovely cushiony and slippery lather. A nice delicate clean/floral type scent. Great value.
