An olfactory expression of the value of time. Crafted through a revolutionary process: a double-infusion with sandalwood and artisanal oakwood barrels. Each fragrance is highly concentrated, containing 30% pure perfume oils, and has undergone a meticulous six-month aging process, including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oakwood barrels, resulting in a deep, layered scent experience.

EDITOR'S NOTES

The fruity oud, perfumery’s current gem, is the star of Amouage’s Sequence. Sour-sweet raspberry, an electric red glistening with lychee gloss, keeps the scent at a remarkably high pitch, bold yet rounded in tone. Saffron lends a metallic facet, intensifying this attractive lustre. Slowly but surely, this glides seamlessly into the heart of the fragrance. Resting close to the base, a deep crimson red rose blooms on the dark oud surface of the fragrance, structured with animalic and leathery tones, smoothed with amber materials. Perfumer Julien Rasquinet revisits a style that he is partly responsible for, Sequence loses the shock of strident fruit materials - like free radicals - harmonising this firmly into the body of the fragrance, which is all too happy to receive contrast and emphasis.
