I left a review on here saying this stuff used to be better, but I was wrong. I got some counterfeit product on Amazon. Ordered directly from the website and it's just as good as it's always been. Strong hold and matte finish for thick hair, one of the only matte products that's actually strong.

Wether on dry or wet hair. This hair clay doesnt melt properly and stays very hard even after rubbing it between the palms of my hand. The worst part is that when it dries it leaves the hair looking dusty and gives it a dirty look. Further more, getting off my hair was a nightmare I had to wash it with lots of shampoo like 3 times. Beware of this crappy product. The only reason I bought is because I wanted a natural product but I guess I'll find something better. The price is just insane for the very low quality. So disappointed.

It works great for a natural finish. Definitely matte finish. Not much scent which is good, smells a little like natural clay. Washes off pretty easily. Has a good volume on vertical styled hair, very easy to style. Definitely check this product out. Will buy again, thanks üëç :)

First time trying and applying this product and for some reason it does not absorb right and leaves this dandruff like residue on the hair. Definitely want my money back, I expected a way better product for the price.

I'd been using G√∂t2be Glued for a while but as my hair has been getting longer I have had to use more to get it to stay in place which has resulted in what I dub "crunchy" hair. After some research and a suggestion from one of my favorite bodybuilders @brandonhardbody (who has excellent hair I might add) I decided on a hair clay from this brand. I took this picture 6 hours after having put roughly 1/8th-1/16th a teaspoon of this stuff in my hair. It may not look ot in this pic but my hair is 5 inches up top and I spent a considerable amount of the 6 hours after applying under the hot tennessee sun. Still holds great and the smell is pretty good too üëåüèª

I bought this clay on the 27th of September and have been using it every day since. I've spent the last 2 months trying all sort of waxes and clays after seeing some Youtube reviews but none were as near as good as this one. This one is now my No. 1 choice. The hold is amazing. I've finally managed to get my hair to stay up all day by pre-styling using a sea salt spray, the Cavalier Clay and Got2b Hair Spray for finishing. I work in a part of London close to the Thames so it's very windy, despite that my hair will stay in place all day which wasn't the case before. I'm so happy with the quality of this product, however I took one star off for the price. It's too expensive. I only apply a pea amount (if not less) on my finger but the quantity in the pot is still quite small, I think it might last me 2-3 months with a daily use. I find it hard to justify spending that much money on a hair product so I will keep using this one but I might get it cheaper somewhere else if I can.

I like how Cavalier holds my hair. It feels great and lasts all through the day. It is pretty much exactly what I have been looking for, however I have noticed throghout the day that the smell can be a bit strong. It is a scent that reminds me of a mix of vanilla, and oil clay from the dollar store, the kind of clay that I played with as a kid. Not that the scent is overpowering, it just catches me off guard sometimes.

Scent could be better but other than that, I've finally found the product i needed after 2 years of trying everything. This by far is the only hair styling product that I can use without blow-drying my curly hair beforehand. (Picture included is after applying)

I purchased the Cavilier clay and I will say this product is true to its word which is why I'm giving it 5 Stars . Monster hold, Natural finish. While this product is hard to apply if you take a little bit at a time and rub your hands it does the trickPros- holds all day, hair feels thicker, true to word on natural finishCon- harder to apply , harder to wash off and I hate the stupid picture of this zebra with hair. What's that about. Overall while I do prefer a little more shine to my hair the product works fine and last. I included a picture of it being first applied and end of day. Enjoy the solid review.

I had really high hopes for the Cavalier Clay, but was quite disappointed overall. The product comes in a simple black plastic container. Nothing flashy here. The scent of the product in the jar is pleasant - kind of a vanilla smell. As the day wears on, however, the scent dissipates and I can only smell the waxes and oils from the product, which isn't good. The product is very hard in the jar. It was hard to scoop out. The stuff breaks down in my palms pretty well, but does take a bit of effort. It is not easy to apply to my hair - it is very sticky so there is a LOT of tugging and pulling. The hold is about what I expected. This is not the sort of product where you can run your hands through your hair during the day. You'll set your hair and leave it. The product does allow for minor touch ups and is restyleable in that regard. It does have a sticky/greasy feel and will gunk up your fingers if you touch your hair. I was extremely disappointed that the product does not wash out easily. It took 3 or 4 shampoos to get it out. Yuck. I'd say this is a good product if you can get past the scent breakdown and the fact that it isn't washable. For me, the hunt for a better product continues.

I have medium length hair (slicked back) and I find it doesn’t do a great job of holding unfortunately, and it ends up greasy really quickly. Not a good volume in the box for the price either. Sorry guys! X
