This product is exceptional. Works through my hair with ease and has a great hold. A slight shine which gives the hair a healthy look.

Awesome hold, makes for a nice stiff peak in my hair like meringue.

I saw this recommended a lot on reddit, so decided to try. It’s by far the most versatile pomade I’ve used. Works for medium-long hair quite well in keeping a styled/natural look, and even better for shorter hair. The whole experience of FHS products just feels high quality. This was my first experience with the company, and no wonder everyone raves about them.
The scent is amazing and fresh, the packaging is nice and the product has natural ingredients. Plus Jake Gyllenhaal uses this stuff often and he has incredible hair!

I have super fine, gray hair that has a curl to it. My hair gets weighed down easily and I've stopped using mousses and gels because of the chemicals. I've been looking for a natural product with eco-friendly packaging. Clay pomade checks all the boxes! It has good hold. I wear hats all day because I'm a dog walk, but all I have to do is run my fingers through my hair and it looks great. The pomade lasts all day. I'm very pleased with everything. Thank you!

I was introduced to this product in a men's subscription box years ago and I haven't looked back. Easiest to work into short to medium length hair. I just love the texture and volume this gives my hair and without the shine. Best part is, this stuff is all natural and washes out very easy. This is the ONLY clay pomade I will use

I bought the sample pack of pomades and this has ended up my favorite. My gray hair is currently in a naturally curly bob. I probably don't use this 'correctly' but it's been working for me. After I've diffused my curls dry and they are still crunchy from my gel, I use a small amount to 'scrunch out the crunch' of the gel and give my fine hair some more volume. Love it!

This is the best pomade I have ever used. It does not leave a sticky mess, it easily washes out and doesn't leave powdery residue.

I never write reviews, but this time I made an exception just so the Firsthand team can really understand how amazing this product is. I have very wavy hair that usually straightens out when I use hair clay / paste / cream on damp hair. However, I have spent the last 3 months in a coastal town in Italy (ie. high humidity) and no matter what product I used my hair would frizz up and turn into a wavy mess. Today I tried Firsthand's Clay Pomade and.. my hair stayed straight once it air dried, and for the whole night. You have a new lifetime customer. Please never stop making this product.

This product offers a decent, all day hold, without being too heavy or sticky. Its lightly scented and you dont need a huge amount to get a decent, pliable hold.

For years, I've wanted a matte-finish hair product that would hold as firmly as a pomade or hair spray. As the name indicates, this is that product -- the only one of its kind that I'm aware of -- combining the no-shine look of clay with the strength of a pomade.
