Something for the dandies, or the classically-inclined, Ajaccio Violets is a faithful single note 'soliflore' fragrance that champions violet flower. With noticeable powdery and green facets, smelling this fragrance closely reveals a earthy, almost vegetal quality. Violet flower naturally has a poignant, grey mood about it, building a sober, yet charming British attitude.

Fresh and clean

I agree with the reviewers who say that Ajaccio Violets is not too sweet and feminine. I like it, but wish it was as long lasting as Havana. As with other Geo Trumper colognes, the crown top is cute but easily slips and ends up on the bathroom floor, so it’s somewhat annoying and has had its day.

Put Ajaccio Violets at the top of your grooming list.

Ajaccio Violets by Geo. F. Trumper is the brother I never had - always close, smooth, predictable, with a big personality and most importantly, nice to be around.

There is nothing quite like Trumper's violets.

One of my favorite colognes because the scent is so pure and rich and complex - the true essence of ajaccio violets.

Note that the scent is not particularly long lasting and a liberal application is recommended.

The crown seal is excellent quality, although I would certainly recommend decanting into an atomiser for easy application.

A worthy, classy and unique addition to any cologne library, masculine despite being floral, and all round lovely. A special treat for the senses.

Glorious violets in a very masculine scent -who would have thought?

My grandmother used to wear violets and I have always associated the scent with elderly women - until now. Women's violet fragrances tend to be sweet, almost like candy. Ajaccio Violets is definitely a floral violet scent, but it is neither sweet nor feminine. There is an undercurrent of green plants that serves to create a picture of strength and masculinity. It is, however, quite strong and noticeable and it is therefore not one for the 'shrinking violet' pardon the pun. If you want others to notice you when you arrive and remember you after you have left, this is one to consider.
