My husband has a strong beard and uses a razor to shave each and every day. Loves, loves, loves this shaving cream.

This came recommended to me as the best shaving cream; It disappointed me on two criteria.
1 - It does not have a pleasant fragrance, which is a must for any product that goes on one's face
2 - It is sticky which sometimes is tough for shaving with Gilette catridges. Maybe the shaving cream is meant for the traditional steel blades.

This is a Good Brush, value for money. It came recommended to me from Mens Biz and it has not disappointed.
This is the first time I am using a brush and it is working well so far.

I have used lots of shaving creams over the years, and I keep coming back to this one. Great lather and smooth for the shave. I just wish it had a better scent of coconut.

Expecting coconut aroma but could hardly detect any aroma at all.Lathers okay but will go back to TOBS and D R Harris creams.

A great product. Creates an excellent lather. Lasts ages too. I've tried a few different varieties of this but the coconut is best IMHO. Highly recommended.

Per the title, difficult to say. It is damn fine. It feels slightly more luxurious but I don’t think it lathers as thickly or as easily as GFT limes (West Indian limes or whatever it is called). I strongly recommend buying both because neither is better but both are sublime - in their own individual ways.

I had been using a bowl of Proraso soap for the past 12 months+ and found that to be good, however this stuff is amazing. I dipped my brush in and looked at how much I had on the brush, thinking that I had not put enough on, but when I lathered it up on my face, I was gobsmacked by how much lather it created from such a small amount. I went through 3 passes and could have gone through more - each pass had a large amount of lather, whereas other soaps often have quite a noticably reduced amount by the 2nd or 3rd pass. The shave is smooth, I don't seem to get as many nicks as with other products. It smells really goo, the coconut reminds me of Thailand. I can see this bowl lasting over 12 months (I shave every weekday apart from holidays). Great product!

My skin reacts so well to this product. I love the small, shaving results and plumpness of skin after using this product. Along with Avocado shave creams, this would be my absolute favourite. Six out of five.

I have been wet shaving for a few years now, and have tried variety of creams. Prorosa, TOB, TH, and more. This is my favourite cream.

You instantly know how much to use, it is intuitive. It lathers quickly, and generously and it easily last for 3 pass shave.

You find that it remains slick, and soothes the skin. I would recommend this for new users and experienced users a like. A quality product

I've just started on my third bowl of this and I don't think I'll bother using a different brand again. It has a beautiful coconut scent and, although dries out a little faster during the shave than I would prefer, leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft. Great stuff!

Received this as part of the deluxe shaving kit. It was a revelation using this and lathering in a bowl instead of cream in a can. Pleasant scent, creamy lather and smoothest shave. Might try the sandalwood when this runs out, but that won't be for a long time since such small quantities are required for each shave.

Used this many times. Always happy with this scent and the resultant lather. An excellent product. Second place only after Trumper's Rose.

This is my second bowl of Coconut oil shaving cream. Like others I really appreciate the rich lather, and great scent. After my first bowl two things I didn't like were how quickly I used it all up, and that the lather tended to dry on my face. With the second bowl I use less cream. The cream is lasting a lot longer and the lather is more moist. My two problems solved!

Bought this to see what the fuss is all about. Perfectly consistent lather every day. I'll be using this as benchmark for good shaving creams.

I was given a Geo F Trumper sampler pack about a month ago. Having used the Limes Skin Food for some time I had high expectations for their shave creams too. I started with the scents I normally favour but was a little disappointed with the quality of the shave. Out of interest, I checked a few user reviews on the net and noticed that the coconut oil seemed quite popular. I tried the coconut oil next and immediately understood why - it lathers great, shaves great, rinses easily and has good moisturising properties. I don’t like heavily scented shave creams…I just prefer not to be reminded of my morning shave all day long. This is where the product really excels for me…there is virtually no scent during or post shave. For people with sensitive skin or who are sensitive to scents I see this as a real bonus. Obviously, if you like heavily scented products this may not be your first choice. Normally I like to rotate between several products but with this cream I don’t feel the need. I will still use other creams from time to time but suspect that it will just reinforce how much I like this product. Great value and highly recommended!

This cream is amazing...gives a perfectly smooth shave..moisturising properties in this is brilliant ...scent is tropical and amazing .be great for summer...no razor burn ...what I do is I lather up after finishing shaving ,leave it on face while I clean up ,I mean why not ? Plenty left over ,so I just leave it on face then rinse off after I clean up ...result is a face that is soft,supple and smells amazing all day..the smell will of course wear off but your face is soooo soft....this is my favourite so far ..will never be without a tub of this !!!

Geo F Trumpers Cocount Oil Shave Cream

Consistency: 9.0 . Good luxury cream consistency. No issues.

Fragrance : 8.0. Fresh coconut scent. Pleasant without being intense. Reminded me of childhood.

Lather: 7.5 Ok to lather but not great. Did take a fair amount of cream and a bit of water to get an adequate amount of lather. Lather turned out to be rich and thick but started drying out quite early on and thinned out a but by the third pass.

Shave: 7.5. Good standard shave with this cream. Nothing really to report apart from the initial drying out.

Razor clog. 8.0 Very easy to rinse off razor while shaving. Better than most.

Aftershave moisturisation: 9. A good amount of after shave moisturisation. Better than others and left the skin feeling adequately moisturised. Expected this from a coconut oil based cream however.

Overall: 8.0

Recommend? Yes. A good quality cream just let down by the lack of decent lathering and that it dried out so early into the shave. Other Trumpers creams do better than this so can only assume it's the makeup of the coconut oil cream itself. Better than many but not up with the best.

Is a little expensive but worth it.
This cream provides the most protection for a very smooth shave. Also leaves face moist and supple.

The blurb in the product says 'Only a small amount is required for each shave to produce a luxurious lather' and they're right.

In my first go, I swiped the brush 4 times lightly on the cream and started lathering. I could've done 5 or 6 passes easily (but only needed 2!)

Next time, 3 swipes and still got an abundant amount of thick creamy lather.

Now, I'm down to 1-2 light swipes and the lather is amazing. Nice, thick and creamy and just 'feels' good.

Should last a while too with the small amount needed for the lather.

First off, I love the "Coconut" scent! I just had to try this shaving cream out and I'm so glad I did.

While not too "over powering" you can still smell the fantastic "Coconut" scent through the entire shave.

Like all Geo F Creams I've used so far, I found this to be a GREAT performer! Only very little was needed to generate a nice, thick and creamy lather. Not only that, but it left my face feeling nice and soft after the rinse!

Well worth the money for those who want a nice light fragrance, love the scent of coconut and are looking for a great performing shaving cream!

This cream produces a thick rich lather. I find I need to use extra water as the lather is so thick, but that's fine. The smell is very pleasant and summery.

Produces a good lather and very good lubrication for smooth shave

Some of the best things in life require hard work. Others are very expensive. This cream is reliable, easy to lather, and feels better than any other more obscure creams. I've got a rotation of about 15 soaps, but this one gets used a couple times a week. I shave with a straight and it's protective with plenty of cushion and glide.
