This is the fantasy that The Cobra and the Canary entertains, a vision of rubber against hot, sun-blasted asphalt - the heat emanating from the earth redoubled in the aroma of tobacco flower, hay, and orris - all of which sap the scent of its moisture. An unmistakable lemon note - a canary yellow colour, of course - adds brightness and astringency that plays well against the exalted leathery dryness of this fragrance.
