It’s not easy finding one defining feature in Rituale, though it behaves like a loop with materials hand-in-hand, like a tangled chain. Its fruitiness is immediate, acidity and sweetness, dripping and vibrant: pomegranate electrified with raspberry, sharpened and deepened with cassis, lifted with bergamot. This flashing and brilliant red fades just enough to reveal Rituale’s rich floral arrangement, which is as much about the texture of flowers as it is their smell: the middle hum of furry-textured and salubrious lavender, the tender duet of rose and jasmine, and narcissus - a special note with a charm uniquely its own - which showcases strength and passion, a heady blend of yellow and green, indolic and agrestic, priming one for the glowing ambery dimension of the scent, filling it with warmth and sunlight. Notably, beeswax and hyraceum contribute remarkable depth, complexifying not only the base, but the whole body of the scent - as if to coax one to go around this aromatic loop again and again. In Rituale, befitting its name, one is carried along the motions of this fragrance; part of the collective effervescence it generates.
