The first batch of Risvelium is infused with a sacred element: holy water from the Nile, blessed on December 12, 2024, at precisely 12:12 by a global collective of shamans, elders, and tribal leaders. Charged with sacred codes, spells, and prayers to awaken and unite humanity, this powerful blessing transcends borders and resonates across dimensions. With every spray, Risvelium carries this profound energetic imprint, fostering connection and transformation.

The cap of Risvelium is made of an antique brass inlaid with one of seven different eyes, the portals of our energy.

Made in Italy

A blast of bitter grapefruit, not unlike a transcendent light, starts the wearer on a journey through thresholds. Indeed, Risvelium derives from ‘risveglio’, to awaken in Italian. One progresses through green - as if to suggest an earthly plane - the green accent of citrus pith, the upwards inflection of furry mint, the dark green shades of pine, and even the impossibly dark cyanin tanginess of blackcurrant that elides with sharpness. To pronounce this freshness, it is also possible to detect the soft, sundrenched sweetness of pineapple. Its initial impression is fougere-like and retro, but this quickly gives way. For an Alessandro Guiltieri composition, such natural freshness is unexpected; however, there’s not much we can ever really expect from the crazy nose.

A rapid heavenwards turn to sharpness lends Risvelium its dynamism. Set against Guiltieri’s hallmark ground of woody ambers and musks, wearers feel themselves caught between two poles of distinct texture and weight. Eventually, there’s a flip - an inversion of emphasis - the freshness is absorbed by these ambery materials, and the earthiness sharpness becomes eldritch and unusual. Smokiness, density - what was first crunchy has now been crushed under the weight of amber-musks that are both milky and metallic, mineral-rich and smoky soil, and camphoraceous woods. Some green and rose-like odourants appear, as well as a scattering of dried savoury herbs and spices, weeds and garrigue.

The sensation of green is enduring in Risvelium, sliding across a tonal continuum. As one anoints themselves in this potion, they are summoned: the senses are brought to the fore and challenged, it is fear and excitement in one.
