P Frapin & Cie 1270 Eau de Parfum

I didn’t really like this one. Bought the sample and it reminds me of one of the CK fragrances I used to wear when I was younger (I can’t remember which one!). It’s more of a feminine scent. Fragrances however are highly personal - this one just isn’t for me. Definitely recommend trying the sample before and investing the amount for the full bottle.

This one I picked up as a sample to see what the hype was about and boy was I disappointed! This is a beautiful fruity gourmand scent that will really get you compliments for the first hour or two because it becomes a skin scent right after that. Definitely sample it first to see if you get longevity from this because even as an EDP, this thing did not last long with my body chemistry and at this price point, you could do SO much better.

I've tried a wide range of colognes and perfumes ranging in price from $50 to $500 and none of them at all compare to this.

Starting with the packaging you are receiving a lovely box and sleeve with a bit of information about Frapin on it and their history.

The bottle itself if a nice shape with the the Frapin logo etched into the bottle. Topped with a wooden cap.

The scent itself is sweet and woody with the slightest hint of a whiskey or cognac. None of these notes are overplayed in any regard and all equal and balance each other fairly. Due to the lack of intensity you don't need to be dressed up like you're about to go to the opera in Vienna to wear this, you really can wear the scent with anything.

Despite the lack of intensity and "in your face" aspect of the scent, it lasts a very long time and I find myself still recognising the scent many hours later on into my day.

Classy packaging, wonderful smelling scent that you can wear all year round, it's certainly a compliment getter and it has good longevity. You won't be disappointed in Frapin 1270 at all, it's a one of a kind!

I took a chance buying this unsighted & un-smelled. I guess the product description had me intrigued. The packaging is classy, and the bottle out of the box is exquisite. As for the smell? Quite simply this is one of the most amazing cologne's I've ever smelled. The last few lines of the review are spot on! This will be come a favourite, no doubt about it.
