EDITOR'S NOTES

With gin the focal subject rather than the usual Cognac, L'Humaniste is a welcome departure from the house style. More G&T than dry martini, L'Humaniste is a lightly effervescent blend of juniper stirred with citrus. A cocktail in a bottle.

Wish it lasted longer

Great smell of summer and gin that tends to fade away quite quickly. I find that 3 hours later it’s gone completely which isn’t great for a scent in this price range.

Exceptional scent!

Another cologne purchased untested. Given how impressed I was with the 1270, I couldn't resist trying another under this brand. Quite simply this is an incredible cologne, and a great contrast to the 1270 which is wood based and great for wi yet, evenings etc. L'Humaniste is afresh scent great for summer. It also has long staying power. Another new favourite found.
