Perfumer’s Inspiration:
"Azemour Les Orangers is the memory of horse rides in the parent's orange grove in Morocco, a huge orangery in which I was born and raised, located in the region of Azemmour - a small town, and one of the oldest in Morocco, on the edge of the ocean and surrounded by ramparts. Azemmour, the name of the city, is written with two m's, but to find the word 'amour' better, I took the liberty of removing one in the name of this perfume. I wanted to gather all the facets of the orange tree, the sparkling freshness of the zest of the fruit, the juiciness of the flesh, the sweetness of the flower, the dark green of the leaf, and the depth of its wood. It wasn't an easy exercise. I tried to get a fragrance that would come out in a particular light: at the end of the day in this orange grove, a golden-blonde light, which remains engraved in my memory - stretching along a wadi to the ocean. Azemour is a memory of a happy childhood and adolescence in the kingdom of Morocco. It is a very personal project, and I hesitated to release it. A landscape perfume - the story of a lost paradise, perhaps regained a little in this fragrance." (Marc-Antoine Corticchiato)
