Sedley is Parfum de Marly’s take on bold blue freshness, its heart is watery but not thin, reinforced with aromatic and citrus notes. It is traditional in this regard, constructed according to a hierarchical top-heart-base structure and thereby offering a familiar wearing experience that is sequenced and evolving. Although its blue heart is detectable immediately, Sedley first begins amongst many bright citrus notes where grapefruit and lemon lead the charge. A prominent mint note - realistic and green without being screechy - adds a herbal touch that iterates the lavender in the heart of this scent. Its amberwood base provides a sturdy and unobtrusive foundation for these bright and expressive top notes.
