Proraso Styptic Razor Repair Gel, 10ml

No fiddling around with a styptic pencil or alum block which are prone to breaking and creating a mess. A little goes a long way and no clean up required.

Very simple product to use. A small dab will stop bleeding, soothe burns and most importantly it works fast. Within half a minute the product is completely dry and has stopped all but the most severe bleeding. It dries and leaves a white 'crust' that with a splash of water can be wiped away.

This is good stuff. Except after an extended period the tube cracked in multiple places, possibly due to the 5 minutes of direct daily sunlight it received resting on my bathroom window sill.

Quite simply, this just works. Having previously used a styptic pen that would both sting and then promptly break. The Proraso gel just works. Very happy with the purchase.

Have been using styptic pencil.Changed to Proraso gel and works a treat.Ease of use and quick to stem bleeding.Will definitely stay with this product.

Have been using styptic pencil but purchased Proraso Gel and works to perfection.A small dab of this product and result immediate.Will definitely continue using this gel.

This products works great for stopping the bleeding on cuts and nicks from shaving, however, I have seen products that work better.

No bleed, no chalk. All I need.

The wonderful people at Mensbiz threw a tube of this into my box and it does exactly as it intends.... stops bleeding. A small dab and you're done.

A good, effective product that stops bleeding from shaving nicks and cuts. The only downside is the white powdery residue it leaves behind.

Stypic pencils and alum blocks are preferred over this gel, but it's still a very good product.

This does what it says on the package. It's good. It stops the bleeding and revises a 'cap' to prevent re-bleeds, but it can tend to leave a white residue as it dries. Luckily, as I am now using a Merkur Barber Pole I'm not really needing this product much - no cuts.

Piece of mind to know this is in the drawer for when a customer moves, someone bumps you or you just plain make a mess...

I actually look forward to getting a cut these days so i can see this stuff in action. This should be used in surgery as I am known to nearly bleed out when I get it wrong but the repair gel has saved more than a few shirt collars. I haven't tried the Alum block but at this stage I don't see the need.

Does what it says on the tin, but no better than an alum block. I prefer pencils.

I find the Proraso Styptic Gel to be a great product. I have had a few major nicks lately that have needed a bit more gel than usual. In these instances the gel leaves a "cap" over the nick that can be left in place without being noticed. Once the cap is formed just dab away the white residue around it and you are ready for the day without fear of a re-bleeding occurring.

I am very pleased with the Proraso gel. Easy to apply, dries quickly and actually stops the bleeding.
I even use it on cat scratches (cat hates me) and small knicks that I manage to cause by being clumsy.
This is a essential part of your kit. Don 't worry about the white residue, it comes right off.
