Too often do whiskey perfumes focus on the scent of the spirit that they forget how exciting evoking its terroir can be - from the rugged landscape of Islay, to mythical bourbon rackhouses towering with charred bourbon barrels. Along the same mythos in which ‘on the rocks’ meant putting cold spring stones into a glass, Manuel Cross soaks oakmoss in a Glencairn of bourbon - zooming us back to fields of grain and the earth.
