Amazing!

This is pretty much a perfect product. Nice waxy pomade with some clay/salt towards the bottom of the ingredients. Not many products from home brewers in this category which is crazy to me! It is a super versatile product that can be used for neat or textured styles. Gives a nice natural finish which is my preferred finish. Not too dry nor greasy. The scent, while not my preference, is a nice fresh woodsy scent. Pretty neutral so it will not overpower but, I do catch whiffs from time to time. This is my daily driver going forward.

Hair type: Dry wavy/curly hair. Currently rocking undercut side part with about 2 inches on top.

This is it.

Have been in the hair product game for almost ten years, and have been following Shear Revival since I first got into homebrewed products. Fell in love with their WAX collab with O'douds and hoped it would return one day. Let me tell you: it's here, and it's even better.

This truly feels like the perfect in-between for Northern Lights and Gray Ghost. It has a great natural finish with a hold as firm as Gray Ghosts' need while retaining the texture of Northern Lights. It works well in damp hair, in dry hair, as a prestyler, as a finishing product, etc. I have yet to find a way that this doesn't work for me.

My only gripe with the original WAX was how it emulsified and broke down; if my hair or hands were remotely wet, it would get clumpy and struggle to fully emulsify. Upstate Blues scoops and breaks down super well despite being a waxier product.

I don't say this lightly. As someone who loves most if not all of the products in Shear Revival's lineup, I can definitely say that this one is their best work to date. It feels like the culmination of years of great ideas and innovation, and I'm glad it's here to stay now. Do yourself a favor and try it out.
