Speick Men Active After Shave Lotion, 100ml

Intial impression was that of 1980's Brute splash-on. Difficult to gauge how much to use and the initial sting isn't ovdrly gratifying. There's a light citrus scent hiding in there somewhere however the just doesn't invite you to take a passing sniff unlike the Trumpers skinfood range.

The Speick aftershave stands out as one of the best in the category. It has a sting when applied but a very pleasant and fleeting smell that is not long lasting. I think it is great as I can apply my usual fragrance almost immediately and they won't clash.
I am currently using Proraso Green and as soon as it is finished, I'll get a new bottle of Speick Aftershave. What a gem!

Having used Speick shaving cream (amazing I must say) I decided to try their aftershave. I must admit, my expectations were high and it did not disappoint. So light and fresh, with minimal projection but still invigorating and soothing. I like the fact that the aftershave is light in fragrance which means it does not clash with my usual fragrances I apply before leaving for work. A top notch product. I now use Proraso green aftershave but as soon as it is finished I am going to buy a bottle of Speick aftershave again.

I’ve achieved the best overall DE shaving result using this aftershave. No razor burn, visible nicks or unsightly bumps.
A nice clean matt finish with an invigoratingly fresh citrus note. Not overpowering or tacky to the touch.
Highly recommended.

This stuff is amazing. As others users have noted, this is a more citrus-centric version of the original Speick aftershave; it smells a bit lighter, which is a good thing. You can feel the alum as it tightens your skin after shaving. Glad this is available in Australia at a reasonable price.
