The Muramasa’s unique blade exposure setting utilises a spring-less slide base-plates system, which allows the simultaneous adjustment of blade gap and blade exposure. It has 5 pre-set levels, with in-between adjustability. While rotating the dial, the base plates move together/apart from the razor’s head, changing the point of contact between the blade and the user’s skin. As a result, the head dimension is kept to a minimum - producing a beautiful razor without a bulky head, that can reach anywhere on your face, including complicated nose and mouth areas. It is blade chatter free: the contact area between the cap and base plate effectively clamps the blade, ensuring that it does not vibrate or rattle during the shave, giving the smoothest shave possible. The handle is designed using a twisted dimple pattern that enlarges towards the head of the razor for a better grip while displaying the concept of an adjustable razor.
