Gin-Seng moves through herbal, rooty bitterness to find sweetness and freshness. In this powerful botanical perfume, Gin-Seng explores several games of contrast, each hanging together harmoniously. From beginning to end, Gin-Seng has a powerful aromatic force - pungency amongst variation - it is a whorl of hot and cold, blowing over woods and roots. Its verdancy is unmistakable, and it is oily like an unctuous tonic. It is fresh without being diaphanous, it is sturdy and strong - some sweet anisic sweetness comes from basil, piquant from its namesake note and ginger, all redoubled with a vetiver that recalls the earth and its soil, though clean and confidently woody. In Gin-Seng, all of this green is swaddled in musk that does not work against the scent, but enhances its substantivity.
