The very same sensation of walking into a humid greenhouse, where the atmosphere is warm and thick. Once the senses acclimatise to its environment, Orchid Mantis reveals luscious flowers mingling with rich and verdant vegetation - a simple contrast that gives the floral notes clearer outline, against a jungle-like background. The scent is like a paisley pattern - its retro charm is there, and in good taste. Light greens and dark ones, dew that resembles sweat in the tropical heat, an opening sequence of melting pear and snappy basil, with brightening notes of bergamot and lemon, happily slide into an exotic flower arrangement. Tender orchid flowers surrounded with rose and jasmine absolute, and twirls of ylang-ylang, resolve into a classical mossy base of patchouli, vetiver, moss, and sandalwood.
