Where blond tobacco and smoky vanilla mix with the crisp herbal notes of a gin martini. As they settle in the warm interior of dark woods, leather and velvet, London’s bright young things burst in, frosted martinis in hand, surrounded by a cloud of laughter, white smoke and fine vanilla. The wrinkled skin of vanilla fuses to a wooded grain, inviting the nose to travel along its length. Along the way, one encounters a perpetual spicy-herbal aromatic hum: the sweetly medicinal, coniferous aroma of juniper berry, resinous cardamon, the green roots aroma of angelica, purring clary sage, and pepper. Texture appears in many forms - meltingly soft iris absolute, the crinkly sensation of cypriol, vetiver freshness, and an upright spine from some woody-amber material. The Architects Club is at first simply expressed: vanilla and wood, like the scent of a beloved tobacco pipe, forever opening up, like a subtle kaleidoscope, revealing so much. Delightful symmetrical, elegantly composed, easy to wear but so very special. Quiet luxury? We certainly think so.
