"For a long time I felt that geranium deserved its own perfume. I wanted the material to breathe: leaf, flower, herb and powder all present at the same time. The breakthrough came when I trusted a classical triangle again: green herbs, tonka and a vanilla warmth. With brightness above and warmth underneath, geranium suddenly had the space it needed. It opened, became rounder, and kept its vivid green-floral character. I let it remain geranium.
Geranium is not rose. It is not cologne. It is not only leaf, and not only flower. It is green and aromatic, yes, and you find it in countless classic masculine colognes, where it is often hidden under an avalanche of lavender and dihydromyrcenol.
