The fragrance opens with a soft glow of spices and a hint of fruits over a rich rosy geranium layer, leading into a rich, textured heart of dark vanilla, rose, and tobacco. The vanilla is based on a natural CO2 extract of vanilla pods that is warm, balsamic and woody. A warm base of patchouli, amber, and balsamic resins anchors the composition with lasting depth and sensuality. A vanilla with soul.

On our noses, Andy Tauer has boosted the vanilla impression in Vanilla Absolue, which is more richly nuanced with fruit tones, tropical flowers, coconut, leather, and even cocoa. But, rest assured, this fragrance preserves the best and most attractive features of Vanilla Flash. It is cooling and woody, long in its build, and supported from a generous dry ambery base that is simply astonishing. Tobacco, patchouli, geranium, and labdanum are crucial in this fine-tuned blend, slightly raspy - but all the more addicting for it - fusing with rich vanilla, offering a platform to showcase its best qualities. If you seek a vanilla fragrance, one that is enriched but not busy and without distractions: temptingly dry, ambery, and woody, Vanilla Absolute is a marvellous proposition.

Now this is incredible

I love Tauer but this goes beyond. A real fresh interpretation of the vanilla profile (I think because of the geranium). It feels like quite a musky scent but honestly, this is gorgeous. Definitely a unisex scent that can be worn year round
