Czech & Speake No. 88 Shaving Soap in Dish

At first I wasn't taken by the scent. Decided to give it a go nonetheless. I was shocked at how easy it was to load. After loading the brush gently for 3-4 seconds I was able to build a lather comparable to that of what a cream produces. I couldn't believe it. Keep in mind I'm a novice when it comes to shave soaps, so normally I'd have to load the brush for double or triple that time with my previous shave soap. The scent was incredibly appealing when lathered on the face. Not only that I've had my smoothest shave yet (used a Rockwell 6s with plate 5 and a feather razor). So pleased. I hope Men's Biz get the Oxford Cambridge soap by Czech and Speake in the dish. It is such a nice container. Sounds stupid but God it lifts the experience. It looks as though it was machined out of solid aluminium and the tolerances are so fine that the lid slowly depresses when placed atop the main compartment as air slowly escapes. Beautiful. Also Men's Biz are so damn quick at dispatching packages. Ordered at around 2pm EST and it was shipped that afternoon. Appreciate the effort. Couldn't be happier.

The lather is rich, glides well and maintains its form whilst sitting in the shave mug.
The scent is amazing, its mild and soapy.
Overall great soap that come with a high quality dish.

how often do we shave ? the container will last the rest of my life (the quality is amazing place on the lid and air closes the lid )the included soap is going to last a long time and it actually foams up to almost a creams consistency vs a soap very happy will be buying refills eventually but will have a piece of fantastic engineering forever !
